The scales don't lie!

December 8, 2007

I forgot to post about this frustration of mine that has been going on for more than 38 hours now.

One evening before eating dinner, I decided to go to everyone's enemy, the weighing scale, to catch up on how well I'm doing with the whole weight-gain fight. Sadly, i didn't gain a single pound. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, I was shocked to find out that I am now only 46 kilos! Yes, I even lost more weight. 2 kilos to be exact!

I know I shouldn't have done it, but it was the right decision. If it wasn't for that night, I wouldn't have yanked myself even harder to eat more... and more... and more-ER!

It's soo frustrating when you thought you've been doing well, and all that for nothing.

I need help! Professional medical help! Calling on The Insider, Oprah, Tyra Banks, and Entertainment tonight. Yes, those are what I consider my medical team. I want to be the headlines of every show and everyone's gonna give me great gifts after my success story. (just kidding guys)

Just what I needed...

November 9, 2007

Yup! It's officially the day I get myself checked once again. Official time, 1:33 in the morning and I can't bring myself to shut these damn eyes.

After blogging 3 entries for my brother, I ran out of things to do so I just waited for my baby to be online in Gtalk. I was a bit worried since he wasn't replying to my text messages, but I guess he just took a break.

So anyways, worried as I could ever be about the whole check-up thing, I was suddenly taken aback from my fear with this little chat we had.

Baby: bhe, gcing ka pa (Baby, you're still awake?)
Remcyl: di ako makatulog eh, iniisip ko result bukas (I can't sleep, I'm thinking of tomorrow's results)
Baby: naku rest ka na bhe wag mo isipin un (Take a rest baby, don't think about it) anything can happen
Remcyl: what if meron ulit? (What if another clot is found?)
Baby: just think that we're here for u, nothing will change, life has its ending
Remcyl: thank you bhe, now i can sleep well knowing that... I LOVE YOU!
Baby: mawawala din tau lahat pero wag mo isipin un i love u 2 wag ka na magisip ng kung ano (All of us will leave this world but don't think about that yet. I love you too. Don't worry too much)
Remcyl: okay bhe, cge tulog na me... wag na din u magpapagod maxado ah... mwah! nytnyt my sweet angel! (Okay baby, I'll sleep now... Don't tire yourself too much... mwah! Goodnight my sweet angel!)
Aaahhh! Don't you just melt with those sweet words. In times of anxiousness such as the state I am in right now, knowing that someone special is thinking of you and cares for you is all you need to give you the sleep you need to remove that anxiety.

Thank you my dear sweet angel for all the love!

Could I be any more blessed?

Me scared. . .

November 8, 2007

Okay, the reason for me not blogging even if I have all these ideas I wanna get out in my head is because I have an appointment with my neurologist tomorrow. After 3 years post-operation of nothing bad happening with my head, I've been feeling migraines, dizziness, and lightheaded lately.

Frankly you guys, I'm scared.

What if something IS wrong with my head again?

I hope not! I'm not ready to find out, but I realized just now, when could I ever be ready? This should be something I'm more than ready to face since I've been through more difficult times than this. I mean really, after my skull being opened and muscles taken out to wrap veins with, a check-up is nothing.

But I do need the biggest help from you guys, through prayers. I know we haven't shared that much yet, but I am hoping for your warm consideration to my request.

Will be updating you tomorrow as soon as I get the results with pictures of the trip and the check-up.

Random thoughts: Obese jeans... Shopping... Friendly visit... To a healthier me!...

November 7, 2007

Obese Jeans...

So I had this thought for quite some time now, I just was not able to take the photos I wanted to make this entry possible. To start off, everyone probably knows by now how much I adore skinny jeans. I only have one pair and sadly, it even belongs to my sister. I can't buy one since men's skinny jeans are still not skinny enough for me that I have to purchase the ones for girls. If you happen to know a brand that caters to my size, let me know ASAP. So anyways, I've been seeing girls at the mall sporting skinny jeans fabuleux and noticed plus sized women wearing them too. But could they still be called skinny jeans if they're worn by non-skinny women?

You might be saying how rude I'm being for trying to label such simple idea, but to the contrary, I love it when plus size women wear skinny jeans for them. Voluptuousness has never been more beautifully flaunted than this. I just want to have an official name for it so we know what to call it.

So what do you think guys? Yes to obese jeans? Or still call them what they are?

Shopping...

My baby and I recently went shopping which was a big leap from the usual movie marathon and fine dining experiences. We had lots of fun trying to find the best deals in the small City mall we had to work with.

So here we go!

My baby bought these three items which were great! The polo shirts were great buys thanks to Molecules. The green number fits him perfectly and the pattern is superb, while the gray stripes with a bicollar is sooo flattering to his skin tone. Then he bought regular straight denim at Penshoppe in a dark blue hue which fits to him like silk. I'm really glad he chose this in his "right" size since most of his jeans I think are bigger. Can't wait till he tries them on.

I on the other hand only had one room for my purchase and I decided to spend it on this fabulous Bench cap. It's in this great soft fabric and the color is just soothing to my sight.

Friendly visit...

My cousins from Manila recently visited us and I forgot to post an entry about all the fun we had but anyways, better late than never, right?

This ladies and gentlemen, and to my fellow gay people, is my cousin's second son, AJ. He decided to play with the laundry basket so I tagged along with his game of Who wants to be a beekeeper.

Then here's her third son, Josh, who I took for a stroll on the beach for more than 8 laps just so he could sleep soundly. And thank God he did. With a little help from my P990i, my mission was accomplished.

Here's kuya paul trying to feed him with some Quake Cake...

To a healthier me!...

Okay, this might sound a bit childish, but I've forgotten about drinking milk daily. Calcium! Hello! I need it badly, especially because I think I'm at risk for scoliosis. So starting tonight, I add this to my nightly regimen.

Cheers to a healthier me!

Pinoy Vlogging!

November 5, 2007

I had been blogging for roughly six years now and it was always a great deal for me being a ground for enhancing my writing skills. The ability to express yourself with what you feel through reaching out to the world is a fulfilling job I have been doing. But it's more than a job, it's a part of who I am already.

I've tried doing podcasts in my previous sites and found it very interesting being able to add in music or special effects to the background. Some grasped the idea and subscribed to the entries.

But in a technologically advanced world we live in, I can't help but feel the sudden urge to vlog. Yes! Vlog! Welcome to the future a.k.a. right now! Haha

Vlog in its simplest explanation is basically blogging in a video.

Filipinos having the innate ability to learn fast isn't far behind with all these techno hoo-has. Very few are doing vlogs but are very good at what they do.

We pinoys have great ideas but somehow lack the resources to spread out such ideas and I truly believe that with the vlogging trend, we have a bigger ground to do so. Just imagine all the great vlogs pinoys could make knowing that such innovation is easily accessible!

Only a great vision could rake in more pinoys in engaging in vlogging and we are so lucky that with the great leadership of Coy from Cavite, this possibility isn't far from becoming a reality.

With that said, I know there's no harm in trying it out. watch out for my first vlog you guys!

Reunited and it feels so good!

I can't even remember the last time I've been with my high school friends. All I can remember was a time of bonding spent in a coffee shop here in Dagupan till 11pm, and that was it. The rest was just forgotten by my teeny tiny brain haha.

So anyways, It's kinda fun having to go through all those makeovers don't you think? I could barely recognize my friends with all their new dos and styles. Ayessa is now wearing make-up, Mary has even ventured the world of eyeliners and short bobs, and Jezreel is looking more like a guidance councilor compared to the last time I saw her. As for John, well, same old same old (wink!)

So this is another pictureatti post since I hate putting captions and I've always been a firm believer that pictures should always speak for themselves.

Let's play a little guessing game. In the next picture, all three of us were wearing skinny jeans but can you guess which jeans am I?

And here's a little somethin somethin Ayessa and I did the day before we all met. The pictures were all made for a good laugh and I believe that's just what we got out of it. Some of the images were blurry but it's still worth a giggle.

Till we meet again my friends! It's good that we always know how to pick up where we last took off.

OMFG!

October 24, 2007

I can't remember the last time there was a fire in Dagupan as huge as this one.

The site of the fire was apparently in Aling here in Arellano Street right in front of my school. According to reports (a.k.a. rumors of the folks), it was politically motivated since the government of Dagupan has long been trying to evacuate the people in the area. If true, then this is one move a lot of people wouldn't be happy about. If you want the people to evacuate the area then do it in a way where no one gets hurt. Even the boarding house of my ex was burnt, good thing they were able to save their things and they were moving out of the building anyway.

What's next? A City Mall bombing?

Hope not.

Over and Out!

Just for giggles...

My head is still floating after staying up for more than 21 hours just so I could finish our case study. I'm too lazy to create a long entry right now so I'll just post a random thought.

I was viewing my friendster (which still turns out to be unproductive) when I saw this funny picture of my friend Alron, imitating KC Concepcion's Sony ad.

Looks like he's having a lot of fun while doing it (not to mention killer denim) so I'm planning to start something like it.

Hmm, a contest perhaps?

Gay people of the Philippines! Lads and Lasses! Do an instant imitation of an advertisement in the background (like the picture above) and you could stand to win... (an Ipod? Xbox? PSPs? Cellphone?) drum roll please...

***Php500.00!!!***

Hey, for a snapshot, 500 bucks is a lot! Plus you get to be recognized (harhar).

Contest ends December 2007! Join now! (I'm begging you!)

[if this contest does not end up as a success, the prize will be donated to the Missionaries of Charity]

Karaoke once again, Color me hair, Faux Armani

October 13, 2007

Me and my baby wanted to splurge on ourselves since our money always seems to go on food and karaoke. We've been planning to get our coif done and finally, we had the time to do it together.

This entry is sooooo gonna be filled with pictures I just know it...

First we went to the City Mall to do the never-go-anywhere-without-doing-it, KARAOKE!

Then we were off to the salon where my baby has been getting his hair dyed. It was a house/canteen/walk-in salon.

Whenever I get my hair done I just love how long it takes for services to be finished, it gives me the feeling that time is being spent to achieve a fabuleux outcome.

After about 3 and a half hours of killing our roots, I was officially Mr. Chocolate head and my baby is Mr. Carrot Top! harhar (kidding!)

My baby has been complaining lately of his stressed eyes so we went to an optometrist to buy brand new eyewear for UV protection a.k.a. his computer. He looks silly in this geeky apparatus, don't you think?

And last but not the least, as if we haven't splurged enough, we saw faux Armani sunglasses and we just have to get the last two pairs that were on the stand.
Hello Giorgio? We could use the real deal here, just send it over. Thanks!

Enjoy!

Scent, Oops! He did it again...

Scent...

While surfing youtube yesterday, I typed in Christina Aguilera just to see what's new with my all-time favorite performer. To my surprise, several videos of her new commercial showcasing her new fragrance! Take a look! Watch for the effect when she spritz herself, PERFECTION!

Lovely, isn't it?

Oops! He did it again...

I had been holding myself back from saying something about one of my classmates' rant about me and my blockmates but I think I've strained myself for too long and I just have to say it out loud.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Meet Mr. Interesting.

It's his second time around in the college life after graduating from an engineering course so safe to say, he's a lot older compared to the rest of the guys in our class.

After getting to know him a bit, he came "out" to me which really wasn't much of a surprise anymore after one of my blockmates told me prior to our conversation. Blah! Blah! Blah! Moving on...

One time I invited him to go out together with my boyfriend but said he couldn't make it so it was fine. It wasn't that big a deal since it's not like we're going to a huge party or anything so I just cancelled.

Then came his turn to invite us on a karaoke afternoon splurge and this time, I was the one not available to join due to personal reasons a.k.a. spending time with my boyfriend. Their plan pursued but without Irish and I so I thought it was fine with him. BTW, the invite was actually sent to most of our classmates.

Days after, I saw his shoutout box at Friendster ranting on how BORING our block is. So I thought to myself, how shallow of a reason for him to label us as boring individuals just by not being on his karaoke splurge?

STRIKE ONE!

A new shoutout months after a quiet classmate-to-classmate relationship except during times of paying him for the Autoloads, there was a new rant once again still referring to us as BORING! Oh and may I add, this time around, he stated how he wouldn't miss us.

STRIKE TWO!

Come to think of it, I really don't know why I keep on visiting his profile. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm waiting for the next big scandal. Coz you know how fabulous it is to discover skeletons from people you least expect to have bull?

Well anyhoo, appaled, taken aback, and shocked with the new shoutout he posted, I still kept quiet. No one seems to be caring anyway since I don't hear from anyone in our class having an opinion about it, I felt it was the better choice.

When I checked in the next day, to my surprise, the latter part of the shoutout was changed and in it was an apology for posting the former.

SAY WHAT? Say no more...

To me, being liked by everyone is no everyday challenge. I don't spend time thinking what it is in me that people don't like. I quote Samantha from Sex and the City, "Honey, if I care about what everyone thinks of me, I'll never leave the house."

Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Interesting. But sweety, if you're gonna call us boring coz that's how you find us, stand up for it. Live it! Don't let anyone mold who you are just because they reacted to your belief. Always remember that just because what you think isn't accepted by many, doesn't mean you have to go with what they believe is true.

Despite how we've been labeled already, I still wanna prove him wrong.

I know how interesting our block is! We have singers, dancers, photographers, artists, and a whole lot more to be proud of. Just open your heart a bit more. Spontaneity might be slapping you in the face and you don't even know it.

Select a song? Anyone?
